Structural engineering design of the 7 storey structure, which is to be constructed at Airport Residential area, Accra. The structure makes use of flat slabs on all suspended floors supported on columns to resist gravity loads. Lateral loads are resisted by centrally located shear walls. The foundation is a raft slab foundation due poor ground conditions and high building loads


St. Patricks’ Court, Dzorwulu – Structural Design Engineer & Project Manager

Project Manager and structural engineer for the 3 storey apartment block. The building consists of 12 apartments with a 2 storey out house and swimming pool. The structural system is the traditional cast in situ reinforced concrete slab supported on beams and columns. The foundation is isolated footings tied at both the foundation and ground level. The major challenge was the foundation construction as there was the presence of poor soil conditions coupled with the presence of high ground water table


Heritage Bank – East Legon – Civil/Structural Engineer Structural design engineer

For the two storey bank branch at East Legon, Accra. The bank has a unique façade of a hanging cantilevered wall. The structural system is the traditional cast in situ reinforced concrete slab supported on beams and columns. The foundation is isolated footings tied at both the foundation and ground level. Because of it iconic nature, this design has been replicated at Dzorwulu and Tema branches.


Little Angels School, Tema Community 18 – Civil/Structural Engineer Structural design engineer

For the five storey school building at Tema, Ghana. The building foundation sits on soft soil that is prone to the effect of seasonal variations in the soil. The structural system is the traditional cast in situ reinforced concrete slab supported on beams and columns. The foundation is isolated footings tied at both the foundation and ground level. Due the stretch of the building it has two expansion joints spaced at 50m apart.


Perez Chapel International, Adjiriganor – Structural Design Engineer

For the 4 storey church building of 3000 auditorium capacity. The building consists of parking and offices on the ground floor, main auditorium, the gallery and the small chapels and offices on the upper floor. The structural system is the traditional cast in situ reinforced concrete slab supported on beams and columns. The foundation is isolated footings tied at both the foundation and ground level. The roof of the building was steel trussed to accommodate the wide spans and provide clear unobstructed spaces.


Three Storey with double basement in Beirut Lebanon – Civil/Structural Engineer Structural design engineer

For the three storey private residence situated in Beirut, Lebanon. The structural system is a flat slab supported on structural on columns with lateral loading being resisted by core walls. The foundation is isolated footings tied at the foundation level. The roof is a concrete gable roof with slopes varying from 500 to 300. The location of the building is an earthquake zone and hence was designed for accordingly. Snow loads were also accounted for in the design.

Structural design for one storey chalet at the beach front in Ada on stilt. The building is a suspended flat slab ground floor with roof. The foundation sits on soft soil which seasonally submerged in ground water.


Anglican Church of Ghana, Ashalley Botwe – Structural Design Engineer for the one

(1) storey church building of 500 auditorium capacity. The building consists of the main auditorium and offices. The structural system is the traditional cast in situ reinforced concrete on grade and supported on ground beams and columns. The foundation is isolated footings tied at both the foundation and ground level. The roof of the building was steel trussed to accommodate the wide spans and provide clear unobstructed spaces


La Beach Towers Development: Monitoring Structural Review Engineer

Monitoring consultant (structural design review) of the 3No. seventeen (17) storey apartments by Cypress Investment Ltd at Labadi, Accra – Ghana. The development comprises 2 to 3 bedroom luxury apartments and penthouses. It has a massive car park that has a capacity of about 500 cars and a deep suspended swimming pool. The structure is a rigid frame structure with precast floor slab panel and in-situ beam supporting gravity loads. The lateral loads are resisted by the shear walls and central cores. The foundation is a pile raft foundation to a bedrock of 19m deep averagely.
